A New Addition!

AS you all know, We needed a name for our Hearts for Hearts doll. Her H4H name was Dell, but we didn't like it all that much, so we asked for some help.

Meet  Amy Adelle

BUT WAIT!!

We have a new addition and she will be...

Layla Lily
Layla is American Indian, so Layla just
sounds like a perfect name for her!

Amy Adelle & Layla Lily

Layla's new outfit!

A Note about how I found Layla:

I wanted another H4H doll, to be a friend for Amy, so I have been hunting on ebay.
since these dolls are no longer being made.
               THEN
I happened to see a couple Dell dolls at my local Toys R Us store! But we already had our Amy (Dell), so I looked for the next nearest TRU store on the off-chance they might still have a doll.
Sure enough they had Layla, the last H4H on their shelf! I knew she was meant for us.
Do you ever just get that feeling?

We need a name!

As you may have noticed we added a Hearts for Hearts doll to our family, but we are struggling to find a name for her.  Her H4H name is Dell, which we don't care for.
We considered Adelle, which would use her name in part, but that doesn't seem to be right either.
So, we thought we should ask you to help us decide on a name?

Here are 5 of our favorite choices:

Anna
Hope
Layla
Lily
Ella

Oh, and if you can think of a middle name to go with your choice, please add that too!

A doll size Pride & Prejudice Pt. 2

PART 2

A visit with Mrs. Collins

March was to take Elizabeth to Hunsford to visit Charlotte.  The journey would moreover give her a peep at Jane; as she would break her journey in London.

Time in London passed most pleasantly away; the morning in bustle and shopping,
and the evening at one of the theatres.

Mrs. Gardiner asked Elizabeth to accompany her uncle and
aunt in a tour of pleasure which they proposed taking in the summer.

Elizabeth arrives at the home of Mr. Collins & Charlotte
Charlotte and Mr. Collins meet her at the gate.
When Mr. Collins could be forgotten, there was really an air of great comfort throughout the house, and by Charlotte's evident enjoyment of it, Elizabeth supposed he must be often forgotten.

Charlotte tells Elizabeth that Mr. Darcy is visiting his Aunt at Rosings Park.

Walking to Rosings to dine with Lady Catherine de Bourgh

Lady Catherine asks many impertinent questions,
and Mr. Darcy is ashamed of his aunt's ill-breeding.

When dinner was over, Elizabeth, having promised
to play, sat down directly to the instrument.

Mr. Darcy and Miss Elizabeth speak together.
“I certainly have not the talent which some people possess," said Darcy, "
of conversing easily with those I have never seen before.”

Mr. Darcy makes a Proposal
While writing to her sister Jane, Elizabeth is surprised by Mr. Darcy.
After a few idle commonplaces, Mr. Darcy begins to speak.

"In vain I have struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you."
“In such cases as this, it is, I believe, the established mode to express a sense of obligation for the sentiments avowed. I am sorry to have occasioned pain to anyone.”
"I have every reason in the world to think ill of you. You have been the principal means of dividing my sister and Mr. Bingley from each other, involving them both in misery of the acutest kind."

Mr. Darcy Gives Elizabeth a letter.
Mr. Darcy gives Elizabeth a letter explaining why he took
Bingley away and why Mr. Wickam was not to be trusted!

14" doll shoe makeover!

After I remade this lovely dress for Amy.
I realized we had no dress shoes for them!
What to do? Go thrifting!

I found these doll shoes on another doll.
I didn't want the doll , but the doll, stand & shoes was $5.
(I will return the doll for my local thrift store to resell)

I didn't like the shape, so I trimmed off the tops
And rounded the fronts.

I made some small ribbon bows.
Fray check the ends!
Hot glued the bows and VOILA!

And, here she is with her new shoes.

Before and After
